Hi guys, welcome to my blog. This is my first time having a blog, so please pardon me for my errors. My blog will mostly include interesting science facts and links to other blogs with the same content as mine. To start of, I will share with you some interesting science facts that I stumbled upon while surfing the net. I am sure that everyone knows about the atomic bombing of Heroshima and Natasaki in 1945. Well here goes, do you know that the after effects of the bomb caused more deaths than the initial bombing? The Heroshima prefectural health department estimates roughly half of the deaths in each city occured on the first day. Since then, more have died from leukimia and solid cancers attributed to exposure to radiation released by the bombs. During the following months, large numbers died from the effect of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illnesses. So, from these, we can all tell that the dropping of the atomic bomb contributed to more long term effects than short term effects. The children that were borned afterwards were mostly deformed and plenty of them suffered from a missing limb or a deformed head etc. The effects of the atomic bomb were truly terrifying and I was scared out of my wits when I saw several pictures of deformed babies on the net! That's all for today, bye!
