Ashcloud over Europe

On the 14th of April, a volcano in Iceland erupted and the volcanic ash of the volcano led to the closing down of the air travel. The ashes of the cloud had spread all over Europe and almost all the flights in and out of Europe had to be delayed or cancelled. This resulted in thousands of passengers left stranded in Airports and many of them had to be provided lodging by the airlines company. Airlines companies were estimated to be losing US$200 million each day the passengers remain in the airport and the suspension of air travel. Sporting teams had to find alternative routes to their destinations. Football teams such as Liverpool and others had to travel by coaches to arrive at their destinations and the long trip had somewhat drained them leading them to substandard quality of football. Overall, this ash cloud had disrupted many plans and I hope that air travel would be available soon. This also further highlights the human race's reliance on air travel.
